Tributary Sales Resources was launched by publishing industry veteran Bob McLaughlin in 2002, after a successful 17 year career as a senior sales executive with textbook publishers McGraw Hill, South-Western, WH Freeman and the Times Mirror Companies.
In his own experiences as a sales manager, Bob saw a need in the market for a telesales services company. The larger publishers were spread too thin and the smaller publishers didn’t have access to the “just-in-time” selling solutions needed to address unique sales opportunities. Bob launched Tributary in 2002 with those companies and those opportunities in mind.
Initially, TSR focused on higher education clients. We were quickly approached by publishers in the K-12, association, health science and ed tech markets and expanded to accommodate their needs. Over the last 16 years, TSR has successfully worked with over 100 clients to help them drive new revenue and attract new customers.
